My “Mother”, she who plans
it all
Mother
is a woman who said to be the most important woman in the world. The reason why
she is the most important, because she is the one who gives birth of baby or
you may say a woman who gives a new life to this world. Mother is also a woman
who takes care of us, to be able to live and grow up. A mother of each person
has her own character and style of how she take care her own children. Now, I
would to share how my mom takes care of me, and the reasons why I said, she who
plans it all.
Firstly,
there were some research said “What mother feels, her child feel it too”, my
mother listened to all fine music, she singed along with the music, and she
made herself to be happy all the time while she was pregnant. She told me that
if she angry, worried or sad, it will be effect to me, and I may grow up into a
child who unhappy. Even after I was born, she always let me hear both English
and Thai music. She was not just let me hear only pop music, but she uses music
to teach Thai alphabet, and she uses music to practice my essence both Thai and
English. I could speak faster than other children, and I could sing English
songs since I was a little even I did not know what they mean on that time.
Secondly,
my mother loved to read bed time story, she told all kind stories that she had.
Every day and every night, the stories were all the same, but I was never feeling
bored to hear them, my mother eventually changed to be a listener and let me
tell the bed time story by myself. Whenever we went to shopping, most children
love to ask their parents that they would to have some dolls or some toys, but
I asked my mother to buy me some books, because she said “You already have a
lot of doll, right? So I won’t buy you a doll if you ask me to buy, if you
would like me to have a book, I will buy for you”. On that time, I was thinking
‘if she does not buy me a doll, but she will buy me a book, then I will choose
book, so I will get something’.
Thirdly,
my mother is a kindergarten teacher, I went to the same school with my mother
since kindergarten till elementary, but she never put me study in the same
class with her. She told me that she did not want me to attach to her too much;
she preferred to let me have my own life without her taking care all the time. My
mother put me into classes that have advisers teach mainly mathematics.
Basically, if that an adviser teaches which subject, he or she will mostly
focus his/her class to study hard on that subject. In this case, my most elementary
advisers, they are math teacher, so they mostly focus on math, and I was very
good on calculation.
Fourthly,
my mother loves English; even she is not good on English, because she did not
have an opportunity to study when she was a little. She loves to speak with her
foreign teachers friends, and she took me to speak with them since I was a
little. But, there was a time when I was really hates in English, and I could
not make a good grade on it. My mother sent me to study English program when I
was grade 7 until grade 9. She registered to make our family as a host family
to take care of foreign exchange student from another country. She used three
years to tell me to be an exchange student; even I was ignoring it for all
three years, but I did not know why on the fourth year I asked my mom for 200
baht for AFS test. When I was passed the writing test of AFS exchange student,
she cheered me to choose USA as the first country on the list, and even she
already knew that most candidates they preferred to go to USA. I went to USA
with the will of improve my English, when I came back I chose to study
International program of BBA.
Finally, my life
seems to be seen by my mother, she knows everything, and she plans everything.
I can speak English very well, and I can study and copy languages very fast. I
have chosen to be an AFS exchange student of USA, and I got a lot of good
experiences. Nowadays, I am a fourth year student of Rajamangala University of
Technology Thanyaburi, Faculty of Business Administration, and majoring in
International Business English. I also have a part-time job teaching in English
and Math for children. I would like to thank you my mother who sees the future,
and plans everything to make my life success. But do not always wait for your
mother’s plans; mother is only a guideline to the success, but the person who
will make it happens is you!
