                  Ice-cream fresh milk “Umm!...Milk” is a premium ice-cream made from high quality real cow milk from ChokChai Farm. It mix with all good selected ingredients, it produced by pasteurize, homogenize and ice-cream production system, which provide least off air in ice-cream texture. Basically, milk ice-cream of Umm!...Milk has mixture of fresh cream and fresh milk in high quantity, which it will make soft and silk texture, more sticky, sweet, and the most important is strong flavor more than another ice-cream. And Umm!...Milk would like to answer some questions from customer.

            First, why ice-cream has a strong scent of milk or is it contain with milk powder? Umm!...Milk said no, it is not. Their ice-cream made from fresh cream which extracted from raw milk, and that is why their ice-cream is strong in sweet scent and creamy from milk. They did not use any other flavor substances in their ice-cream, because they know it will harm people health.

            Second, why Umm!...Milk ice-cream is melt faster than another ice-cream brand? Umm!...Milk said, it is because of their ice-cream made from real cow milk for 100%, and they are not use any Emulsifier. Emulsifier is a food additive which helps emulsion to stay, it will decrease surface tension of ice-cream, and of course it is chemical thing which may harm your health if you eat it continuously.

            These two are the example questions and answer that has been ask from customer to Umm!...Milk. Um!...Milk will still continue to produce product and make customer believe in them continue in the future.

                        Sweet, cold and soft are something to describe one of everyone favorite dessert, ice-cream. Some may love to enjoy a strong taste of milk, and some may love to enjoy a natural taste of fruits. There are many kinds of ice-cream in this world too. Let’s see what kind of ice-cream that “Melt Me” is proud to present.

                Firstly, gelato, Melt me is not provide you a normal ice-cream, but they provide you an Italian style of ice-cream which is called gelato. Melt me see the important of every health, they choose gelato to be their dessert collection since it contains milk, cream and sugar less than other normal ice-cream which it makes them lower in fat. They used the originally production of Italian gelato, their gelato is stronger, and full of tastes. There are more than 20 flavors of their gelato collection, and they are 90% of fat free.

                Secondly, sorbet, Melt me sorbet made from fresh fruits. The color, taste and sweetness came from the real natural. Sorbet is different from gelato or normal ice-cream, because it has no milk mixture, it is a frozen dessert made from sweetness fresh fruit or beverage. The most important is there is not fat in it; you would not worry about getting overweight while you are eating Melt Me sorbet. There more than 10 flavors to provide your preference.

               Do you know ice-cream? Every country in this world have their own language to call something cool, sweet, and soft as ice-cream which is English. Some country used to call the same thing as ice-cream, but the different is their accent. But, there is one country that calls their ice-cream as “Gelato” which is Italy, and then … what is “Gelato”? Is it the same as normal ice-cream? Or is it different?

            Gelato is an Italian ice-cream. Gelato made from milk, fruits, cream, sugar or nuts. Gelato is softer and lighter ice-cream than normal ice-cream. There is one of the gelato brands that impress me, and it is called “GELATE”. The special thing of GELATE is their gelato has strong taste as ice-cream but it is not contain of fat around 92-96%, you can eat them without worry of fat in your dessert, there is no preservative, and it is full of gelato flavor. They guarantee of the taste of Italy without going to the real place. 

    One of the truth that I found recently was the owner of this brand is Thai people. His name is Ithieak Kittiaunggul or Kun Te, and the name GELATE came from gelato plus Te. He studied in oversea and impressed by the taste of gelate, he decided to study how to make it and open his own shop.

    Gelato is other way to enjoy something sweet and cold as ice-cream, and “GELATE” is not a bad choice to try.

Sweet Cold War of KFC & Mcdonald's

                        Everyone know KFC and McDonald’s, they both are the most famous of fast food brand. KFC is famous for fried chicken, and MacDonald is famous for french-fries. There is silence war between them. Well, war for this case means business competition. Of course, they are not only having one product, there are lot products among them, and what I would like to present is ice-cream product.

                KFC’ ice-cream and Mcdonald’s have similarity of ice-cream product. There are soft serve ice-cream, Sundae or cone dip which have different called. Both KFC and Mc have ice-cream boot in front of their shop to provide customer dessert preference. There are some different in ice-cream product of KFC and Mcdonald’s. First, soft serve ice-cream, Mcdonald soft serve cone has big one and little one for children, but KFC only have one sizes. Secondly, sundae ice-cream, KFC sundae have ideas of packaging to put sundae in round plastic cup and they always add new flavoe of topping, which is different from MC Sundae with normal cup of Mc Style and basically keep only three main toppings. Third, Mcdonald joined hand with another sweet company to create their product Mcfurry mix with some sweet such as Cookies’n Cream of Oreo or Chocolate M&M. Fourth, the flavor and texture of ice-cream, Mcdonald ice-cream have a strong taste of milk and vanilla, it leave a soft texture in your mouth while KFC ice-cream is lighter and a bit rough texture.

                All in all, KFC and Mcdonald both are basically fast food company, which provide you just more than food, but they are provide you beverage and desserts also. We do not know who will fall first, but we know that this business war will continue.

Blog 6: Making "MAGNUM" Boom!

            For this period of time, there is no one who does not know “MAGNUM”, an ice- cream cover by chocolate, which is very famous among other product from Wall’s. But, there are also people who do not prefer that MAGNUM is their favorite. Some said it does not look different to another ice-cream brand which has the same ice-cream cover with chocolate. Some said, it is too expensive to buy such ice-cream. Well, I was thinking like that in the past too, but I found some reasons why MAGNUM is famous.

            Firstly, the taste of ice-cream, MAGNUM is originally vanilla ice-cream cover with chocolate. Vanilla ice-cream of MAGNUM is made from high class of vanilla with a lot of flavor, the texture of ice-cream is very rich, plus with chocolate good grade from Belgium, when I taste it I could see the different between chocolate of MAGNUM and other ice-cream with chocolate cover. In the past 20 years, it also created new flavor of MAGNUM which are Chocolate truffle, Strawberry, White chocolate, Chocolate brownie and etc. This make more choices for consumer rather than only Classic, and Almond flavor.

            Secondly, Advertisement, you could see MAGNUM on TV, Magazines or internet. MAGNUM these days comes together with famous people, such as stars or idol. When you see them through those media, you would feel like you want to eat the same thing. Moreover, I saw a lot of people bought MAGNUM, took pictures, and posted on their social media, this is a free advertisement which main company no need to pay. As you knew that internet and social media is a great symbol of globalization, what you show today, everyone in the world would know.

            Thirdly, new idea of selling, MAGNUM CAFÉ is a good example to show you a new way to eat MAGNUM. MAGNUM CAFÉ has a concept of using MAGNUM as one of the ingredient to create food. People would see MAGNUM is more than just a dessert. It could be your appetizer or main dish. MAGNUM CAFÉ also provided you to create your own MAGNUM with a lot of topping, similar to concept of finished two things left one thing to customer to create their own taste.
